Before you enter the realm

1. Prepare your own complete copy of Diablo II with Lord of Destruction. It may be older, Polish or English, and contain another mod.
2. Register on the website and verify your e-mail with the OTP code.
3. Download the launcher, select the game folder, choose Polish or English and let it prepare a separate C9Realm copy. Matching files are reused locally and the rest are reconstructed from signed packages. The original folder remains unchanged.
4. Always launch from the C9Realm shortcut. The realm is preconfigured - choose Battle.net in game and sign in with your new account.

After e-mail verification, we create your main account and three utility accounts: name-1, name-2 and name-3. Use them for mules, an enchant sorceress or a Battle Orders barbarian. Do not create extra profiles merely to scale a game - use .players. Only the main account works in Ironman SSF.

Yes. Select your own complete LoD installation - including 1.12, 1.13c, 1.14b, 1.14d or a PD2/other mod folder. The launcher prepares a separate 1.13c profile, reuses every identical local file and downloads signed replacements for missing or different components. Personal d2char.mpq and d2sfx.mpq archives are preserved byte-for-byte and the source folder remains unchanged.

No. The effective value never falls below the number of real players in the game. With eight people present, .players 1 still means scale 8. With four real players, .players 2 still means scale 4. Each new arrival automatically raises the floor.

The game creator sets a value from 1 to 8 by typing, for example, .players 5 in chat. .players status shows the requested and effective values plus the number of real players. After the first hostile monster kill, the setting can only be raised. .players lock freezes it at its current value for the rest of the game.

No. This is game-side scaling, not extra characters. With .players 8, real players can still join every free slot. The old !fill bots have been retired.

Yes. Open C9Realm Launcher again and press Play for each additional window. Every window must use a different account - use the main account and your -1, -2 and -3 accounts. Never sign the same account into two windows at once. Extra windows are unnecessary when you only want more drop or experience because .players handles that.

No. Ironman SSF is designed for one real character. The game stays bound to its creator's account and character, and utility accounts cannot join, mule or transfer items. .players 1-8 still lets you choose the challenge without breaking SSF rules.

No. A passworded game is hidden from the public list. A friend joins manually by entering its name and password. Do not post the password in global chat.

No. “Unrecognized app” describes file reputation. If Defender reports a named, actual threat and deletes or quarantines a file, do not blindly disable protection. Download a fresh copy only from our website, use Repair / update in the launcher and report the exact detection name with a screenshot on Discord.

This is expected. 800×600 is the classic client's internal surface, which D2GL scales to a Full HD window. Press Ctrl+O for display and cursor settings or Alt+Enter to toggle fullscreen. Do not add the -w flag - D2GL manages window mode itself.

The default level 0 shows every item. Levels 1-3 are beta and progressively hide trivial clutter and selected low-value items; C9Realm rules never hide uniques, sets or runes. Change the level under Ctrl+O → Item and reload the configuration with Numpad 0. Repair / update preserves valid local BH.cfg and BH_settings.cfg files. A damaged or unsafe configuration blocks launch and is replaced by the signed default during repair. To deliberately restore defaults, close the game, delete both files, then choose Repair / update. Import, export and an online filter catalogue are not part of the Season I launch build yet - do not paste configurations from an unknown source.

1. Close every Diablo II window and reopen the launcher.
2. Click Repair / update to verify the files again. Unchanged components are reused locally, so the whole copy is not downloaded again.
3. If the previous update was interrupted or failed verification, the launcher automatically restores the last working version.
4. You may select another mod or realm folder. The launcher reuses matching original files and ignores foreign additions.
5. If the selected copy is incomplete, choose another installation of your own LoD 1.13c or 1.14d.
6. You do not need to run the legacy patcher or approve an administrator prompt.
7. If it happens again, open the launcher log named in the error and attach it to your Discord report. Never paste passwords or game keys.

A picked-up rune, gem, skull, scroll or supported key automatically joins its matching stack. .stack or .stack all only reconciles older loose items. To split one unit onto the cursor, hold Ctrl+Shift and left-click the stack. The personal 10×10 stash works normally. Shared pages and Materials remain a C9Vault preview until full save validation is complete.

In the lobby, type /w *C9Bot !help. The bot replies by whisper to keep public chat clean. Send exclamation-mark commands to C9Bot; enter dot commands such as .players directly in the chat inside a game. See the C9Bot guide for the complete list.

Launch the game with the new launcher. On first start it automatically opens your C9Realm profile with a one-time code. If you are creating an account, confirming the e-mail code also approves the computer automatically and the launcher starts the game. If you already have an account, sign in and click Approve computer once. No extra command is needed. A trusted computer covers the main account and all three utility accounts on the same profile. You can review computers or revoke trust in Game client.
